Katy Perry and Billie Eilish play LA FireAid show

Katy Perry and Billie Eilish play LA FireAid show

FireAid Benefit Concert Brings Star-Studded Lineup to Support LA Wildfire Relief

Some of the biggest names in music, including Billie Eilish, Pink, Katy Perry, Nirvana, and Dr. Dre, took the stage on Thursday for FireAid, a benefit concert in Los Angeles aimed at helping the region recover from two of the largest wildfires in its history.

More than 20 artists from diverse genres performed during the five-hour event, which was held simultaneously at two major venues in the city, raising funds for wildfire relief efforts.

Actor Billy Crystal, who lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire earlier this month, welcomed the crowd at the Kia Forum. Wearing the same clothes he had on when he fled the flames, he shared his personal experience:

"You'll be hearing from many people who were tragically affected by these fires, and I was one of them." Crystal, who had lived in the area for 46 years, spoke movingly about his loss as he opened the show.

Meanwhile, a second concert kicked off at the Intuit Dome, with the online stream switching between both venues. Many of the performing artists have strong ties to Los Angeles. California native Katy Perry waved the state flag while performing hits like California Gurls.

Other notable performances included No Doubt, representing Orange County, and Dr. Dre, who delivered his iconic anthem California Love.

"This is a magical moment for me," Dre told the crowd. "I've got so much love for you guys… I appreciate all the first responders and firefighters who risked their lives. Today, it's all about love."

Billie Eilish teamed up with Green Day for a special duet, with frontman Billie Joe Armstrong rallying the crowd:

"California, Los Angeles, Altadena, the Palisades – we are in this together."

The surviving members of Nirvana—Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, and Krist Novoselic—reunited for the occasion, featuring guest vocalists like St. Vincent and Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon.

Other stars who took the stage included Olivia Rodrigo, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Joni Mitchell, Lady Gaga, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stevie Nicks, and Tate McRae.

Among the famous faces in the audience was former Vice President Kamala Harris, spotted at the Intuit Dome.

Raising Funds for Fire Victims

Proceeds from ticket sales and donations made during the concert will go toward rebuilding communities and preventing future wildfires in the region.

At least 28 people lost their lives, and more than 16,000 homes and businesses were destroyed when the fast-moving fires erupted in early January.

Viewers can contribute to relief efforts by donating via text message or visiting FireAidLA.org. The Annenberg Foundation will oversee the funds, ensuring support for both immediate recovery and long-term fire prevention projects.

Additionally, Connie and Steve Ballmer, owners of the LA Clippers and the venues hosting FireAid, pledged to match all donations made during the broadcast.

LA's Devastating Fires

The Palisades and Eaton fires, which ignited on January 7 amid strong winds, quickly became the largest wildfires ever recorded in the LA area. Wind-driven embers spread for miles, consuming entire neighborhoods.

The Palisades fire in northwest LA destroyed nearly 7,000 structures, while the Eaton fire in Altadena claimed another 9,400. Thousands of families were displaced, and the fires took a tragic toll on human lives.

With the support of FireAid and its donors, Los Angeles hopes to recover and rebuild stronger than before.

Influencer Florence Mirsky Apologizes After Using Racial Slur in Beverly Hills Confrontation

Florence Mirsky, an influencer and mother to music producer Scott Storch’s son, has issued an apology on social media after being caught on video using a racial slur during a confrontation with valet workers in Beverly Hills.

In the viral footage circulating online, Mirsky is heard using an anti-immigrant slur and making inflammatory remarks, saying, "President Donald Trump is doing good things because you guys rape people. You guys rape and kill people."

Mirsky addressed the controversy on her Instagram, denying she is racist and claiming that one of the valet workers had groped her from behind.

During the exchange, she is also heard calling the workers “poor” while handing a $100 bill to one of them and asking for change. One of the workers responded, “You’re poor of soul.” The video ends with Mirsky demanding her keys before attempting to slap the phone of a parking attendant who was recording.

In her apology, Mirsky admitted she was "so wrong" for using the slur and acknowledged she "should have just shut my mouth, called the police, and that’s it."

However, Beverly Hills police confirmed that no report has been filed regarding the alleged incident.

Comedian Ken Flores Dies at 28, Remembered for His Humor and Impact on L.A. Comedy Scene

Ken Flores, a rising star in the Los Angeles stand-up comedy scene, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 28, his manager Cameron Silzle confirmed. His body was discovered at his home in the afternoon, though no cause of death has been released.

His family shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram account Wednesday. “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our friend, brother, and son, Kenyi Flores. Please respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”

Originally from Chicago, Flores—born Kenyi Flores—quickly became a beloved figure in L.A.’s comedy clubs, performing at venues such as the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store, The Haha, and Hollywood Improv. He toured extensively and built close relationships with stand-up veterans like Gabriel Iglesias, Jo Koy, and Felipe Esparza. A key figure in the next generation of standout Latin comedians, Flores was set to embark on a national tour alongside Ralph Barbosa and close friend Rene Vaca.

“We were going to break seven figures [on this tour], we were going to be millionaires together—it was going to be special,” Vaca told The Times. “Hopefully we can still do it in his honor and give all the money to his family or something. The timing is so messed up because we had just found out about the tour the day before, and then this happened.”

Despite the loss, Vaca, who hosts the monthly Leg Day show at the Laugh Factory, still plans to take the stage Wednesday night at 10 p.m. to honor Flores.

As news of Flores’ passing spread, tributes poured in from the comedy community. Jo Koy, who was in Japan when he heard the news, said he was “crushed.” He shared screenshots of messages he had sent Flores, encouraging him to keep pushing forward in his comedy career.

“I always checked on him—I truly loved this guy,” Koy said. “I literally posted about his tour schedule a couple days before he passed. It’s all so crazy.”

a

Gabriel Iglesias also reflected on Flores’ impact, telling The Times, “I feel honored to have spent time with Ken. Of course, he was hilarious, but above all, he was kind, respectful, and fun to be around. He will be missed.”

Felipe Esparza, who mentored Flores for years, called him his “big little brother with an infectious laugh and presence.”

Barbosa, who had grown closer to Flores as they prepared for their tour, praised his authenticity. “Ken was funny as hell, he was real as hell. He was never fake with anybody just to get a step ahead. Anything he accomplished, he did through merit and hard work. … I admired him a lot, and I admired his comedy.”

Flores’ comedic style resonated deeply with audiences. Known for his quick-witted crowd work and raw, relatable humor, he connected with people in a way few could.

Just days before his passing, Flores took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his pride in completing recent tour shows without alcohol. “So I started my tour a couple weeks ago, and I’m proud to say I’ve done every single show—5 in Portland, 1 in Albuquerque, and 4 in Atlanta—without a single drop of alcohol,” he wrote. “Nervous for Phoenix next weekend, but I think I got it. I’m not sober, just wanna chill a bit.”

In December, Flores filmed his first comedy special, which has yet to be released. He had been in the midst of a tour that started in Portland on Jan. 10 and was scheduled to conclude in San Diego on April 19.

“There is so much of Ken Flores that the world didn’t get to see. He was more than a stand-up comedian—he was one of the greatest human beings in the world,” Vaca said. “I always said he was my favorite comedian, and we always called him God’s favorite comedian. ... He changed me as a comedian, and he changed the world. He’s the best, he’s the GOAT.”

Carín León niega los rumores sobre una supuesta relación con Espinoza Paz.

Carín León niega los rumores sobre una supuesta relación con Espinoza Paz

Recently, social media has been buzzing with rumors linking Carín León to Espinoza Paz romantically, leading the Sonoran singer to clarify that he is not gay and that he did not dedicate a song to the Sinaloan singer and composer.

"I woke up three days ago with this condition of being gay because people imposed it on me. Since people have the power to cancel and decide if I am this or that, and since you all decide what happens in my life, I woke up being gay three days ago... but to this day, I haven’t developed any symptoms or attractions to people of the same sex. I’m still behaving very heterosexual," he said.

Clearly frustrated, he called those spreading the rumor "a bunch of fools," writing, “Stop trying to live off of other people's blood.”

He also asked the LGBTQ+ community not to misinterpret his words, emphasizing that he has always respected and supported them.

“Don’t take it out of context, because you're saying that I’m treating homosexuality as a disease. You all know how close my relationship is with the community,” he commented.

Finally, in a playful tone, he jokingly asked Espinoza Paz to "show himself."

"Big hug to my buddy Espinoza. Report in. It’s been a while since he’s checked in, and this relationship isn’t going to work if you don’t," he joked.

Peyton List Teases That School Spirits Season 2 Will Provide a “Huge Resolution” but Introduce “a Whole New Problem” (Exclusive)

Peyton List Teases That School Spirits Season 2 Will Provide a “Huge Resolution” but Introduce “a Whole New Problem” (Exclusive)

Peyton List stars as Maddie Nears, a teenager who died at her high school, in School Spirits on Paramount+. The show returns for Season 2 on Thursday, January 30, and List tells PEOPLE that "all the questions" from Season 1 will be fully explained in the new season.

While the first season finale gave Maddie some answers about her death, it also left viewers with more questions. List promises that Season 2 will provide a "huge resolution" but also introduce "a whole new problem." The trailer hints that Mr. Martin (Josh Zuckerman) could be at the center of many of these issues.

"Everyone has so many questions about who this person is that they thought they knew for decades," List says, referring to Maddie and her ghostly group. "He has the belongings of each person from when they died, so everyone wants to know why and what they might mean. And Mr. Martin and Janet, they're very intimate, so everyone wants to know [why]. It's a big clue that leads to everything else."

Season 1 ended with Maddie learning that Janet (Jess Gabor) had taken over her body, meaning Maddie’s physical body is still out there in the world. "Even though her physical body is out there — there's pictures — it doesn't make any sense," List explains.

Maddie’s best friend Simon (Kristian Ventura) struggles to understand this, thinking he's talking to a version of Maddie that’s a figment of his imagination. "We left off with Simon not believing that he's talking to Maddie. He just thinks that his friend has died or his friend is out there, and he created this fake version of her because he's slowly going insane," says List. "Maddie has to convince him that she’s really there and it's not just his imagination."

As for Maddie and Wally (Milo Manheim), their relationship "really grows" in Season 2. "I wasn't expecting the amount of fans of Maddie and Wally's relationship!" admits List. "People who love that relationship will be really happy because there’s a lot of moments between them. Maddie’s finally able to accept her situation and let Wally in, someone she had been ignoring in Season 1."

Rhonda (Sarah Yarkin) doesn’t take too kindly to the growing bond between Maddie and Wally. "Because Rhonda is so alone, she’s frustrated by how easily Maddie finds friendship and love — things Rhonda has been craving," List explains.

List calls Manheim "the best," adding, "Milo just brings so much joy and fun and silliness to the set. He lightens everything up, and it’s really fun to do scenes with him. He’s always adding something new and improvising to get a genuine reaction."

The cast maintains a supportive atmosphere, even during the show's darker moments. "We’re always checking in with each other and making jokes to keep it light. We’re always trying to keep that balance," List says.

As for what Maddie’s version of heaven might look like, List shares a humorous thought. "When watching The Good Place, I thought it was funny when they said, ‘How did we not know it was hell? There was frozen yogurt this whole time. Nobody likes frozen yogurt.’ And I was like, ‘What? I love frozen yogurt! I have a platinum card!’" she laughs. "So in my heaven, there would be frozen yogurt, and we’d all just hang out, surf, swim, and eat good food. That would be the dream."

L.A.-based influencer Florence Mirsky caught using a racial slur during heated dispute with valet.

L.A.-based influencer Florence Mirsky caught using a racial slur during heated dispute with valet.

Florence Mirsky, mother of music producer Scott Storch’s son, is facing intense backlash after a video surfaced showing her using a racial slur during a heated altercation with valet workers. The viral footage captures the L.A.-based influencer making offensive remarks and throwing money at one of the workers.

In the clip, Mirsky is heard using a racial slur before stating, “President Donald Trump is doing great things because you guys rape and kill people.” Her comments appear to be aimed at individuals she assumes are Latino, as she unleashes a string of inflammatory insults. She also flaunts her wealth during the dispute, pulling out a $100 bill, tossing it at a valet worker, and saying, “I’m rich, you’re poor.” The altercation escalates as she attempts to swat a phone out of one worker’s hands.

Amid growing outrage, Mirsky addressed the incident on her Instagram Story, claiming that one of the men groped her, which triggered her reaction due to past trauma and manic episodes. “People who know me know this isn’t the real me,” she stated.

The Reality of Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s Friendship Amid Justin Baldoni Feud

The Reality of Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s Friendship Amid Justin Baldoni Feud

Despite reports of tension between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively amid Lively’s legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, a source told E! News, “It’s not true.”

Rumors of a rift surfaced after the Daily Mail claimed Taylor had “taken a step back” from Blake due to being mentioned by her first name in Justin’s lawsuit filed on Jan. 16. The report suggested the Fortnight singer wanted to avoid getting further “tangled” in the legal battle surrounding It Ends With Us.

However, Taylor has consistently shown unwavering support for Blake. The two have been close friends since 2015 and continue to be seen together frequently, from the 2024 Super Bowl to New York City dinners and even the 2023 Renaissance concert film premiere in London.

Taylor has even woven Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughters into her music, featuring a voice note from their eldest in Reputation’s “Gorgeous” and name-dropping all three in folklore’s “betty.” The couple shares James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5—all referenced in the song—as well as their youngest, Olin, born in 2023.

In fact, when Taylor—now dating Travis Kelce—won Album of the Year for folklore in 2021, she credited Blake and Ryan as some of her most trusted listeners, saying that after her then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, they were “the second and third people that I play every new song that I write.”

Blake and Taylor’s friendship has also extended into creative collaborations. In 2021, Blake directed the music video for I Bet You Think About Me from Red (Taylor’s Version)—a milestone Taylor acknowledged when accepting Favorite Pop Album at the American Music Awards the following year, calling Blake her “beautiful, brilliant friend.”

Meanwhile, Blake and Ryan have been unwavering in their support of Taylor. Their entire family attended the Eras Tour together in New Orleans last year, and Blake made multiple appearances at shows throughout the tour.

Blake was so captivated by the experience that she wished the already three-hour concert was “47 hours long.”

As for Ryan, he couldn’t stop raving about it either.

“When I’m 95 years old and my wife and kids wheel me outside and into the sun so I can drink a sandwich, I’ll still be talking about seeing this show in New Orleans,” he joked in an October Instagram post. “I don’t understand the unimaginable work, care, talent, and discipline @taylorswift generates to create an experience like this because I’m not a scientist.”

When it comes to Blake and Taylor’s friendship—it’ll never go out of style. Keep reading to see how…

December 2015

While touring in Australia, Taylor Swift took a break to visit Warner Bros. Movie World theme park with Blake Lively, who was in town filming The Shallows.

"Yesterday was such an amazing day off—roller coasters, kangaroos and LOLs with @blakelively," the Lavender Haze singer shared on Instagram. Not long after, Blake was spotted dancing in the crowd at Taylor’s 1989 World Tour stop in Adelaide.

Their public hangout came just three months after speculation swirled that Blake had thrown shade at Taylor’s Bad Blood music video on Instagram. However, Blake quickly shut down the rumors, tweeting, “Umm whoever thought I was throwin shade clearly doesn’t know I have a ‘Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll.’”

She later posted a backstage photo of her family with Taylor, praising the singer’s kindness. “Look how rad she is here making my niece Heather feel like a rock star,” Blake wrote. “Love my Canadian family almost as much as I love Taylor Lively. I mean Swift. Ok, FIIINE we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4eva.”

December 2015

For Taylor Swift’s 25th birthday, Blake Lively sent a truly unique gift—a cat-themed pie.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Taylor shared a photo of the pastry, decorated with images of her beloved cats, Meredith and Olivia, and inscribed with “Happy Thanksgiving Birthday.” She captioned the post, “Blake wins at birthday pies,” adding, “I honestly can't stop laughing rn.”

July 2016

Blake, who was pregnant with her second child, and her husband Ryan Reynolds joined Taylor’s star-studded Fourth of July party at her Rhode Island home. Among the other guests were Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose, Uzo Aduba, HAIM, Karlie Kloss, and Taylor’s then-boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston—marking the infamous debut of the “I ❤️ T.S.” shirt.

August 2016

Taylor traveled to upstate New York to attend Blake’s baby shower at the Bedford Post Inn. She later spent a weekend with Blake and Ryan after the birth of their second daughter, Inez, even visiting Blake in the hospital.

November 2017

When Taylor released Reputation’s track “Gorgeous,” fans speculated that the child’s voice featured in the intro belonged to James Reynolds, Blake and Ryan’s eldest daughter. Their suspicions were confirmed when Taylor credited James in the album’s liner notes.

The following year, Blake and Ryan were caught on camera having the sweetest reaction when the song played during Taylor’s concert at Gillette Stadium—further proving their love for their “aunt” Taylor.

July 2020

Taylor’s surprise album folklore sparked major fan theories when the song “betty” featured the names James, Inez, and Betty—leading many to believe Betty was the name of Blake and Ryan’s third daughter. Ryan later confirmed it, saying on The Jess Cagle Show, “The names are the names of our kids, but, you know, we trust her implicitly… What an honor. We still think it’s pretty damn amazing.”

November 2021

Blake and Taylor took their friendship to the next level when Blake made her directorial debut, helming the music video for Red (Taylor’s Version)’s vault track, “I Bet You Think About Me.” Taylor raved about the collaboration, writing, “I finally got to work with the brilliant, brave & wickedly funny @blakelively on her directorial debut. Join us as we raise a toast, and a little hell.”

That same month, Blake and Ryan helped celebrate Taylor’s Saturday Night Live performance with a night out in NYC, joined by Cara Delevingne, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, and Anya Taylor-Joy.

June 2022

Blake and Ryan supported Taylor at the Tribeca Film Festival, where she discussed the short film she directed for the 10-minute version of All Too Well.

November 2022

After Taylor released Midnights, Ryan opened up about how much their daughters adored her, saying they originally just saw her as a close family friend—until they attended one of her concerts.

“Ohhhhh, this isn’t a hobby,” he recalled them realizing.

He added that Taylor’s music was practically “a religion” in their house and revealed that after his interview, the family was planning a Midnights dance party. “My favorite thing is when a 3-year-old is just throwing down the F-bomb in a song and has no idea,” he joked.

April 2023

Shortly after news broke of Taylor’s split from Joe Alwyn, she was spotted leaving Manhattan hotspot Casa Cipriani with Blake and Ryan—literally in a getaway car. A few days later, Taylor and Blake had a girls’ day out with Gigi Hadid and the Haim sisters at Zero Bond.

October 2023

The trio attended a Kansas City Chiefs game at MetLife Stadium to support Taylor’s new boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Ryan later joked about the excitement surrounding Taylor’s NFL appearances, saying, “The NFL right now is reaching a kind of fever pitch that is usually only reserved for the Super Bowl.”

May 2024

During an interview on Today, Ryan quipped that he and Blake still hadn’t revealed their fourth child’s name because they were waiting on Taylor to announce it first—a playful nod to folklore’s betty.

“We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child's name will be,” he joked. “And, we'll say this: we're still waiting… She’s a prolific writer. I mean, what are we doing here?”

Former Teen Heartthrob Is Nearly Unrecognizable in New Mugshot

Former Teen Heartthrob Is Nearly Unrecognizable in New Mugshot

Tom Welling, best known for playing Clark Kent on Smallville, appears nearly unrecognizable in a newly released mugshot following his arrest for an alleged DUI over the weekend.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the former teen heartthrob—now 47—was taken into custody just after midnight on Sunday, Jan. 26, in the parking lot of an Arby’s in Yreka, California. Authorities suspected him of driving under the influence, with records indicating his blood alcohol level was allegedly at or above 0.08 percent, the legal limit for drivers over 21 in most states.

In the mugshot published by TMZ, Welling’s short, salt-and-pepper hair is a stark contrast to the thick, dark locks he sported during his Smallville days. His tight-lipped frown further distances him from the slightly crooked smile that once made teenage hearts flutter.

You may also recognize Welling from the Cheaper by the Dozen films, the 2005 remake of The Fog, or his role in Lucifer, among other projects. Most recently, he starred in Mafia Wars alongside Twilight’s Cam Gigandet.

Off-screen, Welling is a father of two with his wife, Jessica Rose Lee, who coincidentally celebrated her birthday on Sunday.

"Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more!" he wrote on Instagram, sharing several photos of his wife. "We love you to the moon and back!"

Fox News anchor: ‘Sobbing’ Selena Gomez ‘going for another Academy Award’

Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum questioned the sincerity of a now-deleted video posted by Selena Gomez, in which the actress criticized President Trump’s immigration policies.

“The actress Selena Gomez, going for, I guess, another Academy Award or Golden Globe nomination here, was sobbing on Instagram earlier today about what she says she’s seeing out there,” MacCallum said on her program Monday. She referred to Gomez’s emotional video, where the singer tearfully claimed, “All my people are getting attacked,” in response to Trump’s plans to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.

MacCallum noted that Gomez later removed the video from Instagram but had defended her emotional response before deleting it, saying, “Apparently it’s not okay to show empathy for people.”

During the segment, MacCallum asked former Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan (Ohio) for his thoughts, adding, “We’ve seen some of this backlash from other folks, including on The View. But then we hear governors in Massachusetts and Colorado saying, ‘Well, you know, so far we’re okay with the people that you’ve kicked out of the country. Thank you very much.’”

Selena Gomez's tears dismissed by Trump's 'border tsar'

Selena Gomez's tears dismissed by Trump's 'border tsar'

Donald Trump's former "border tsar," Tom Homan, has vigorously defended a crackdown on unlawful migrants after Selena Gomez, the singer and actress, shared an emotional video on social media. In the video, Gomez tearfully stated, "All my people are being attacked, and children."

Gomez, who has Mexican heritage, broke down on camera, expressing her frustration by saying, "I wish I could do something, but I can't." She captioned the video with the phrase "I'm sorry," accompanied by a Mexican flag emoji.

Responding to Gomez and others with similar sentiments, Homan told Fox News, "If they don’t like it, then go to Congress and change the law. We’re going to do this operation without apology."

The immigration crackdown, initiated by Trump after his return to office, reportedly led to 956 arrests on Sunday, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). While Gomez later deleted her initial Instagram video, she posted a follow-up response to her critics, writing, "Apparently it’s not OK to show empathy for people." This post was also eventually removed.

Meanwhile, the Mexican government is bracing for an influx of deportees as the "Remain in Mexico" policy from Trump’s first term is reinstated.

Homan, a former immigration official and police officer, emphasized the operation’s focus on safety, stating, "We’re going to make our community safer... It is all for the good of this nation. No apologies. We’re moving forward." He clarified that the arrests targeted "public security threats and national security threats, bottom line." However, he also acknowledged that undocumented individuals caught during these operations would face deportation as well.

In another Fox interview, Homan challenged Gomez’s perspective, asking, "Where are her tears for the half a million children who were sex trafficked into this country, separated from their families, and handed over to criminal cartels? This administration can’t locate over 300,000 of them. Where’s the outrage for them?"

Mixed Reactions

While many of Gomez’s fans and supporters, including rapper Flavor Flav, defended her stance—Flavor Flav posted on X, "Team Selena Gomez. Again. That woman is always so brave to share her truth, and so many are quick to bully her"—others were less sympathetic.

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly criticized Gomez on The Megyn Kelly Show, saying, "She deleted it after her fans taught her that the majority of the country stands behind these policies, but I’m sure she was shocked to get any blowback whatsoever."

Gomez’s Background

Selena Gomez, a Texas native with over 400 million Instagram followers, has been an outspoken advocate for immigrant rights. In 2019, she executive-produced the Netflix documentary series Living Undocumented, which highlighted the struggles of eight immigrant families in the U.S.

Currently, Gomez stars in the hit Disney+ series Only Murders in the Building and recently received a BAFTA nomination for her role in the musical film Emilia Perez, which is a frontrunner in this year’s Oscar race.
