Recently, social media has been buzzing with rumors linking Carín León to Espinoza Paz romantically, leading the Sonoran singer to clarify that he is not gay and that he did not dedicate a song to the Sinaloan singer and composer.
"I woke up three days ago with this condition of being gay because people imposed it on me. Since people have the power to cancel and decide if I am this or that, and since you all decide what happens in my life, I woke up being gay three days ago... but to this day, I haven’t developed any symptoms or attractions to people of the same sex. I’m still behaving very heterosexual," he said.
Clearly frustrated, he called those spreading the rumor "a bunch of fools," writing, “Stop trying to live off of other people's blood.”
He also asked the LGBTQ+ community not to misinterpret his words, emphasizing that he has always respected and supported them.
“Don’t take it out of context, because you're saying that I’m treating homosexuality as a disease. You all know how close my relationship is with the community,” he commented.
Finally, in a playful tone, he jokingly asked Espinoza Paz to "show himself."
"Big hug to my buddy Espinoza. Report in. It’s been a while since he’s checked in, and this relationship isn’t going to work if you don’t," he joked.
