“I started the braid along the face, weaving in sections from the top layer of hair while keeping the braid low on the hairline to frame the face,” she explains. “I continued it down to the nape of the neck, creating a spot to pin and secure any loose front pieces, aligning them perfectly with the braid. Using the YS Park Tail Comb, I shaped the front strands with a flexible hairspray, locking them in place without making them look stiff or sticky.”

The final look captures Schafer’s dynamic and whimsical style. “They’re micromini,” Halouska says of the blink-and-you’ll-miss-them braids, “like a peekaboo for the eyes! The rest of her hair feels light and poetic, carefully designed to complement the playful braids framing her face.”
